Commercial questions

Is this suitable for our company?

The initial assessment is intended for companies evaluating European expansion and able to provide a clear product, target-market and business-stage briefing. Suitability and scope are agreed before engagement.

Is EUR 4,900 a confirmed fixed price?

No. EUR 4,900 net is the proposed initial fee, subject to commercial validation. The applicable fee, tax treatment and final scope must be confirmed in an accepted engagement.

When does the indicative delivery period begin?

The indicative period is 10 business days after both engagement acceptance and receipt of a complete briefing. Timing is confirmed with the agreed scope; it does not start when an enquiry is prepared.

Does the assessment include legal advice or approvals?

No. It identifies strategic, regulatory and institutional considerations and specialist questions. Legal opinions, licensing, incorporation, tax advice and regulatory approvals are outside this initial strategic scope.

Are market entry or commercial results guaranteed?

No. Recommendations support a decision; they do not guarantee sales, partnerships, political influence, institutional access or approvals.

Your Strategic Gateway to European Markets

European expansion is a sequence of commercial decisions, not a single market launch. TSH Consulting GmbH brings an independent Germany-based perspective to market selection, strategic partnerships and the institutional environment.

Discuss European expansion

01Choose a market before choosing a structure

Start with the customer problem, purchasing process and competitive alternatives. Germany, Austria and other European markets should be assessed separately. A shared EU framework does not remove differences in customer expectations, distribution, language or national operating requirements. Compare direct sales, distributors and partnerships against the capabilities your company can sustain.

02Connect market entry with corporate strategy

An expansion plan should explain how the European business supports the wider company: access to customers, diversification, an industry partnership or a longer-term operating presence. Define decision gates for demand validation, partner discussions and resource commitments. Treat revenue expectations as hypotheses until supported by commercial evidence.

03Understand the institutional environment

Separate current rules from proposals and commentary. Map the institutions and industry stakeholders relevant to the actual product, sector and transaction. European Commission resources offer a starting point for product and trade research; individual legal, tax and regulatory questions need qualified professional advice. Public affairs is transparent analysis and communication, not a promise of access or approvals.

04A focused strategic mandate

TSH advisory discussions can address market prioritisation, partner selection criteria, commercial positioning and stakeholder analysis. Agree the question, scope, information needs and review points before committing to implementation. TSH is based in Munich; no Asian office, local team or language-specific advisory capacity is implied.

Questions for an initial discussion

  • Which European countries and customer groups are priorities?
  • What has already been validated with potential customers?
  • Which capabilities should a commercial partner contribute?
